While these shoes (and a few other of BM's pumps) are absolutely beautiful and exquisitly made, this is a very difficult shoe to wear (I never thought I'd say it publically, but its true!). The problem is that there is absolutely no platform in the front instep of the shoe, therefore, your foot and leg feel the full force of the towering heel. Believe me, as someone who has been wearing heels of all heights and designers for years, I have faced all kinds of difficult shoes. This pair, however, are so ill designed (sorry BM) that they make it almost impossible to have a graceful walk because you are so thurst forward by the radical angle created by the heel.
I have to conceed that this shoe is quite beautiful and can perhaps be worn for formal pictures or at photographed events, or to places where there is minimal walking or standing involved.
