I needed to get some shoes to match a new satin dress I got, so I got the Paladin in black. Not only did they match perfectly but I wore them immediately to the cocktail party I needed them for, was on my feet for 4 hours and felt great! The insole is slightly padded and the heel isn't too high and helps with comfort, yet it is high enough to lengthen your leg and make your calves look sexy. The black looks very sophisticated with the off-center bow, which I didn't think I would like but I do now very much. Over all a great shoe to go with a little black satin dress, possibly even with jeans and certainly a nice skirt. Definitely a great little party shoe!
